This yoga is not for everyone, to be sure. It is physically demanding, mentally and emotionally. It takes determination, courage and strength. I would do some research on the Bikram Yoga before he leaves the class expecting to be pampered and cared for.
I feel for those who have had bad experiences with teachers not to sympathize with the suffering of physical limitations.
One way to mitigate this would probably explain to the teacher before class: 1) Re-entry after a long break at work 2) a breach or 3) any other matter concerning obstacles to their practice. This type of yoga is strongly influenced by the personality of its founder and Bikram is really a heart of gold type of person, as one person mentioned, but it can be corrosive and contempt for people who will not see how put in the effort, and some teachers are not imitate his style, rightly or wrongly, I do not know.
One of the basic things you learn in yoga is to ensure that the teacher guides the class - So turn your mind and the teacher has a mind to be in his mind (Bikram says as much, if the sign). Sometimes it is very difficult - people are not perfect, not like his style, etc., but they are a good teacher (and teachers in this study), they are after the dialogue, and everything that has to do is to hear the words and do what they say. If you are not interested in that, why come to a yoga class?

Overview / Quick background:
* I took over here twice in late August 2010. Both times, had been a weekday at noon, and the two classes taught by two young women differently. I took courses not completed at all.
* Ideal location in Harvard Square, changing / shower, primary health care and a clean overall.
* [The friendly personal note: I read the other comments on this character rich, and it's really a shame that the studio a person who is treated as customers, but to be honest, I can only comment on the staff with whom I interacted with - unfortunately I can not remember his name ... Sorry]!
* If you're the kind of person who believes in sweating the toxins that are, this place is for you. I do not think I ever sweat so much in my life as I was in a Bikram class - and that includes the time he ran a marathon in Hawaii in 80-90 degrees.
Also try to remember, to bring two full bottles of ice water. [Note: Although I can not say he was always aware that in the locked room or building, I think you can lock the building when there is only one employee in the Joint Study which was, in my opinion where, when visitors to prevent theft ... even if they do, you probably talk about in advance ... So if you go, be sure to ask then]
* This is my biggest complaint, and the only reason why I'm sad not to return. Seriously, it smelled like ass and feet, and I think it consists of layers of sweat, which is embedded in the carpet over time. In the class below, which is affected by heat, and too busy to focus on the poses and trying not to lose consciousness, and therefore less sensitive to odors. If it was just a sweet smell, I feel guilty, seems superficial. For a survey, part of a vast network of websites Bikram, I guess you like some consistency.
